A 2006 graduate of the Academy of Art University San Francisco, Jurcak has a foundation in photo and vector illustration, providing experience in still-life photography and a unique eye for portraiture and design. Following graduation, Jurcak worked as a freelance photographer for Seattle area businesses including work with Seattle marketing firm HL2, where he was contracted as lead photographer for Pike Place Market’s, Pike Place Palette magazine. Professionally, Jurcak began as a contract designer for Keiser Corporation, a Fitness Equipment Company specializing in unique Pneumatic and Magnetic resistance systems, in 2008. He then moved into the role of Creative/Director of Marketing where he manages graphic design, advertising, marketing support, in-house photography, social media, and the design of all printed materials. During his time at Keiser, Jurcak has worked with Wilson Cooke (UK), refreshing the Keiser brand, with a global marketing approach; providing a complete website overhaul, as well as the creation of multiple, market specific sub-sites. With a strong background in digital capture, and an advanced knowledge of the Adobe Master Collection – Jurcak is also proficient in 35mm, medium, and large format film processes. Other freelance work includes web design for small businesses and start-ups, as well as band sites and album artwork; utilizing his experience with photography when needed. Additionally, Jurcak has worked as an image editor, and producer/curator for photographers in San Francisco, CA, Seattle, WA and Fresno, CA.
